The best way to shake off beach boredom is to go on a regatta. Every year, dozens of regattas are held in Turkey. Many of these competitions have a solid history. The level of organization of such regattas meets global standards. The most famous regatta is the Marmaris International Race Week, which has been held since 1989. Hundreds of sailing yachts line up for the start of this race, and each evening turns into a yachting celebration with awards for the day's winners, dinners, or receptions.
